Christmas timing
When is the last day to order for Christmas?
18 December. It is in the bar at the top of every page, and every product page counts down to it. After that date we keep posting, but we say plainly that we cannot promise it arrives before Christmas Day.
How quickly do you post?

Gifts
Can you gift wrap it and add a note?
Yes. Tick gift wrap on any product page and type your message. It goes onto a card by hand and sits inside the parcel. The price is shown on the tick box and added to the total before you pay.
Can you post straight to the person I am giving it to?
Yes, put their address as the delivery address at checkout. No prices appear on anything in the parcel.

The products
Why has something sold out and not come back?
We buy and make in small batches for one season. When a line is gone it is gone until next December. It is the honest version of "limited edition": we would rather sell out than sit on stock in February.
How long does a candle burn?
Each candle lists its own burn time on its product page, taken from what we measured for that batch. We do not quote one figure for everything.
Are the candles safe around children and pets?
Treat every lit candle as an open flame: never leave one unattended, keep it away from children, pets, curtains and draughts, trim the wick to about 5 mm before each light, and stop burning when roughly 10 mm of wax is left. Each product page carries the detail for that candle.
What age are the DIY kits for?
Each kit says on its own page. They are designed for a family to do together rather than for a child alone, so there is usually glue and small parts in the box.
Orders and payment
How can I pay?
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and whatever else Shopify offers you at checkout. Payment happens on Shopify's own secure checkout, so we never see or store your card details.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Email hello@thelittlenoel.com straight away with your order number. Before it is posted we can usually change or cancel it. After that, the returns page explains your 14-day right to cancel.
I have not had an order confirmation.
Shopify sends it within a few minutes. Check the spam folder first, then email us and we will resend it.

Reviews
Why are there no reviews on some products?
Because nobody has written one yet. We only publish reviews from people who actually bought the thing, so a new product shows an empty space rather than a made-up five stars.
